Founded in 2016, Namaste Records is an independent record label with a deep passion for electronic music. With roots in both Sydney and Kathmandu, we are dedicated to pushing the boundaries of Deep, Melodic, and Progressive House/Techno while showcasing the unique sounds of Kathmandu’s underground scene.

What started as Namaste Entertainment Sydney—founded by Utsav Bista (aka Kazi) and Prabal Tripathi—became the first independent label representing House and Techno music from Kathmandu. Since then, our journey has been about discovering, nurturing, and evolving with groundbreaking artists who share our vision for innovation and creativity.

At Namaste Records, we believe in more than just music—we believe in storytelling through sound. Our goal is to explore alternative, experimental sounds rooted in the essence of Kathmandu and bring them to the global stage. We aim to bridge cultures, redefine sonic experiences, and create a space where emerging artists can thrive.
